Crate And Barrel - Customer service by email non existent

Placed an oder online from a registry as a gift. Used their own form to email a question. 3 days later, still no reply. Used the form to ask additional question. It has been 6 days, nothing. Why have the form if they are non responsive? Issues were not important enough to call, used form to save time. Will not order from them again. Also, when i placed my order, underneath it said it was eligible for free shipping, but nothing happened when i clicked the link, and no further info available. I was charged for shipping... Any time i have emailed a company i have recd a reply within 24 to 48 hours.

I also bought 6 "leather" chairs and 2 stools from C&B about 9 years ago and was going to sell them as leather until I discovered they are indeed bonded leather. I am so disappointed that they were sold to me as leather. I will not purchase anything in the future from this store.

I purchased 4 folio chairs in 2009, used in the dining area in an adult only apt. One of the chairs, rarely used in the corner is fine.

The others are peeling. I got a few cushions, at crate and barrel to cover the ugly site. When I 're moved them, the "leather" which it is not...something thinner than paper came off. It seems that they cannot be restored professionally.

I'm just appalled at the chairs construction, particularly in light of little use...made to fail. Can I really trust C+B.

He thought the chairs were from some cheap furniture place. Not even sure they are leather - some type of low grade bonded leather maybe.

Crate and Barrel says due to wear and tear...(if i wear sandpaper as pants).

They offer us nothing online, told me to ask the local store. I think I will drop off a few chairs in their showroom....
